  Dr. Shahid has practiced the Art of Medicine for over 20 years. Her roots stem from growing up in the Northeast, where she completed her medical training and met her husband, Dr. Sethuraman, who is also a Spine Surgeon serving the DFW metroplex. She moved to Dallas about 12 years ago with her two young children, who now are about to attend college. After practicing traditional medicine for over 18 years, with her experience ranging from working in Urgent Care settings, Assisting in complex Spine Surgery Cases alongside her husband, as well as Aesthetics, she realized she wanted to provide a more custom-tailored approach to her patients, specific to each person's individual needs. Therefore she started practicing the Concierge Model over 2 years ago in Arlington with Arlington Physician's PA and now is adding a second location in Dallas, DFW Concierge MD .
